As a parent / carer we want to support you as much as we can in order for you to support your son or daughter to make the best possible choice for their future. It is paramount that you receive the correct information, advice and guidance about the courses we have available. You will then be in a position to support your son / daughter making the right decision to shape their future.

We offer various courses that are tailored to meet specific industry requirements and our ethos is to ensure all our learners progress onto positive destinations and have a successful future ahead of them.

We will provide you with the most up to date information on how courses affect benefits, bursary information and any other concerns you may have whilst your son or daughter are on a course at our training centre.

All our staff have an enhanced DBS check and we have all Safeguarding policies and procedures in place. We provide a positive learning environment and want your son / daughter to have the best possible learning experience whilst at the same time being treated as adults in order to shape them for future employment.

We have a Safeguarding Officer along with a second in command Safeguarding Officer. We also have an identified Prevent Officer all of whom are employed to ensure your son / daughter’s welfare is protected and we provide the safest possible learning environment at all times.

We encourage all parents / carers to come in and meet the team so you are confident this is the right environment for your son / daughter. We encourage parent feedback to influence the on-going development of the Airco Centre of Excellence.

Learners will undertake good quality work experience which will prepare them with the skills, knowledge and experience to take the next leap of progression to either a Traineeship, Apprenticeship, Further Education or Employment.


This is an opportunity for young people aged 16 to 24 years to access a ‘Try Before You Buy’ approach where you will work full time with an employer for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months in an area you would like to gain a full time career path. You will access training throughout this duration consisting of:

All apprenticeships are employer led apprenticeships which means you require an employer in order to undertake the training aspect of the apprenticeship. There is no age limit to who can access an apprenticeship. We can put existing staff onto an apprenticeship framework where an employer wants to up skills their team.
